Assign Roles to Organisations
Assign Authorisation Domain Roles to an organisation enabling it to get the access scopes the organisation needs in order to access the data offered by the Data Providers.
Assign roles in order to enable applications to interact with Raidiam Connect APIs.
- Active Authority Domain Claim. If you are an Organisation Administrator and there is no active Authority Domain Claims registered for your organisation, contact with your ecosystem/federation Trust Framework Administrator -- governing organisation -- to request Authority Domain Claim registration.
- Access Token with Write Access and with the directory:website scope - if you want to assign or unassign Authorisation Domain Claims to Organisations using Connect's APIs.
Select Roles > New Role in an organisation of your choice.
Fill in the fields assigning new Role to the organisation and save.
Field | Description |
Authority Name | Name of the governing Authority. |
Authorisation domain name | Name of the Authorisation Domain assigned to the organisation. |
Role | Authorisation Domain Role to be claimed. |
Unique technical identifier | Optional field - not used within all ecosystems A unique technical identifier. |
Registration ID | Exclusive authority domain name ID. This field is purely informational and should be filled based on the ecosystem defined policy |
For security purposes, Authority Domain Role Claims for organisations can be only soft-deleted by disabling them.
You can disable an Authority Domain Role Claim by selecting the Disable button (access forbidden sign under Actions).
Select Roles and select a claim of your choice.
Select Details.
Select Edit Role Claim to edit the details of the role claim.
Select Roles and select a role of your choice.
Select Role Claims Authorisations from the left navigation tree.
Select New Authority Domain Role Claim Authorisation to add authorisation to the role claim.
Fill in the required fields to configure an authorisation and save.

Status | Status of an authorisation - inactive or active. |
Authority Domain Role Claims ID | Identifier of the Authority Domain Role Claim for which you are adding an authorisation. Filled automatically in UI. |
Authorisation Domain Name | Name of the organisation's Authorisation Domain for which the Role Claim is assigned. |
Authorisation Domain Role | Name of the Authorisation Domain Role for which the claim is being authorised. |
Member State | Domicile nation of the organisation |
